Instructors and students are associated with budo organizations at their own personal discretion. As a dojo, The Budo Academy claims no association to any constraining Single Martial Art organization, as this would be in conflict with our no politics philosophy. Therefore we do not subject members to long term monetary contracts or other legal commitments.
Membership at our dojo means you are part of an international family who support each other through regular training and workshops without the politics and the increased cost. We reserve the decision to grant full membership to potential students once they finish a trial period. We will invest an incredible amount of time and energy into your beginner lessons.
If you are interested in Training with us, we recommend coming to view a class, if you feel it will be a good fit for you, we will then provide you with all the forms and information as well as access to our video library for beginners and then your budo training will begin!

Weekend Workshops
Periodic workshops, include all the teachings offered at our dojo. Sword arts, Jo Staff and Jujutsu. The Purpose of these workshops are to enable students to improve their skills, knowledge and understanding of these arts by engaging with fellow students, teachers and visitors. For the student to grow as a Budoka and perhaps someday an instructor, participation is necessary and successful participation involves preparation by home practice and study.
